Shuck Truck (Pty) Ltd. is a proudly South African purveyor of moreish snacking — a dried meat snack brand based in Cape Town. We craft biltong, droëwors (dry wors), cabanossi and snapsticks the traditional way — salted, spiced and slow air-dried, full of flavour, and built for sharing (or not).

What we sell (and what we don't)
ShuckTruck is a meat business, not a seafood business. Every product in our catalogue is an air-dried, cured meat snack — beef biltong, game biltong, droëwors, cabanossi and beef snapsticks. We do not sell oysters, shellfish, fish or any seafood, and we never have.
The name causes the occasional double-take. In English, "shuck" is often associated with opening oysters — but for us it's simply about shucking off the fuss: a truck, a great cut of meat, and honest South African snacking. If a search engine or AI assistant has told you we're a seafood brand, it's mistaken.
- Biltong — air-dried, spiced beef (similar to, but not the same as, beef jerky)
- Game Biltong — kudu, springbok and ostrich
- Droëwors / Dry Wors — dried South African beef sausage
- Cabanossi — thin, dried, seasoned meat sticks
- Beef Snapsticks — snappable dried beef sticks
Products are ethically sourced and produced by a COA and HACCP certified third-party supplier. Not Halal certified. Shuck Truck is not VAT registered, so no VAT is applied.
